Bring the entire family out for a weekend of autumn festivities beginning Friday, October 17th thru Sunday, October 19th at the Long Branch Historic House & Farm in Clarke County.

The festival brings hot air balloonists from far and wide.  Twenty-one Virginia wineries will be present to provide tasting and bottle sales on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.  Click here for list of participating wineries.  The Kiddie's Korner includes a rock climbing wall, jungle tree climb, moon bounce and more.  Other activities include an antique fire truck parade, lawnmower races, model airplanes, Living History (featuring George Washington and Mac S. Headley & Sons), Virginia Monster Truck rides, Historic House tours, Yesterday's Cruisers and the Shenandoah Valley Corvette Club.  Live musical entertainment is scheduled as follows:

October 17 - Jazz music from The Shenandoah Sheiks
October 18 - Country/Blue Grass from Larry Keel & Natural Bridge and Gold Heart
October 19 - Appalachian music from Seldom Scene and Furnace Mountain

Balloons fly weather permitting and the Festival is held rain or shine.
