Well, no but The Carlyle Club will have the next best thing, Matt Wilson, one of the lead singers from Billy Joel's Smash musical Movin Out! Wilson brings his newest show, My Baby Grand to The Carlyle for its world-premiere next Thursday and Friday October 9 & 10th for shows at 7:30. My Baby Grand is a rollicking and rocking multimedia tribute to the greatest piano players and song writers in contemporary music with Matt using his video screens to sing and 'show' the music of such legends as Billy Joel, Elton John, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Carol King.....the list goes on. Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham, famous for his role playing celebrated pianist Antonio Salieri in Amadeus just saw the show and loved it. " Matt was sensational! I haven't had that much fun in years!" My Baby Grand is part tribute and a big part sing along! More than just watching the show, you'll get a chance to be IN the show, whether you sing along with Matt, request a tune or see yourself on the big screen! And you'll NEVER know who'll make a guest appearance! Tiickets are only $20 in advance or $30 at the door. And when you come, enjoy our new fall menu featuring such delicacies as Rack of Elk and Butternut Squash Ravioli all created by Alexandria's hottest new chef, Andrew Conlin.
