100 King was jamming last Wednesday and they will continue their "unplugged performances" every Wednesday. Check it out....

Also, we will have to delay our interview with 100 King due to some legal aspects but as soon as they are cleared, we will be the first to update you.
Last Wednesday was Buddy Speir and Anthony Fiacco. Both are currently members of the local band “The Blackjacks”. Buddy used to be in the band called Welbilt who has played to sold out shows at the 9:30 Club as well as larger events like the DC101 Chili Cookoff and the HFStival. They will also be playing next Wednesday. They are featured monthly at Jammin’ Java’s Singer Songwriter Circle. For their music people can go to http://www.myspace.com/blackjacksmusic.

This Wednesday is Phil Kominski, the lead singer and guitarist of the Lloyd Dobler Effect. He will be playing several acoustic sets from about 8:30-1am. Lloyd Dobler Effect plays around 250 shows a year up and down the United States as well as on the Armed Forces Entertainment Tour playing for troops overseas. I believe they’ve done two or three tours overseas with them now. Their website is www.lloyddoblereffect.com. Phil Kominski, his wife Elizabeth Coyle, and the guitarist of LDE Chris Bruno have a recorded live album from their acoustic show at Jammin’ Java that will be for sale at the show as well as music from the full band.

Wednesday night also includes an extended happy hour that lasts until 9pm and includes half priced rail mixed drinks and draft beer. We will also be featuring our new late night bar menu tomorrow night.
