Realtor Casey Margenau sells a home in Alexandria.

We have put our Alexandria home up for sale as my husband will soon be working in another state.  We would like for the house to sell before his new job starts so that we can move together, but we realize this is a difficult time to sell.  I remember that you described to me how to write our intentions for this sale.  Can you please tell me again (disintegrating brain cells) how to start the list that we should write.  I recall that you said there are certain words that we want to avoid.

Dear Home Sale,

An intention is a powerful, creative statement.  Its purpose is to manifest something you deeply desire.

Learning to write effective intentions is an empowering and fun process that can bring unbelievable results.  Your intention must ring clear and true as a bell, as it will manifest as written.

Manifesting means to allow the result of your intention to come to you.  When intentions are in place, relax and let it happen.

“It is my strongest intention to manifest the following in the highest interest of all concerned.”  Write this statement at the top to guarantee the best outcome for all persons involved in the sale.  Intentions from the heart are not selfish but respectful of all.

Since an intention addresses a commitment, it is not watered-down with words like wish, hope, want, try, need.

We intend (not hope) to sell our house in time to move to our new home together.

Verbs are in present tense.  Writing in future tense may leave your creation in the future.
Our house is (not will be) selling for the highest possible price in this current market.

Intentions are positive statements.

The house is clutter-free (instead of, ‘the house is not cluttered’).

The word not gets dropped from an intention resulting in - ‘the house is cluttered.’
Reading an intention aloud in a strong, clear voice increases its force and magnetism.  Post your intentions in plain sight and forget about them.  The powers-that-be will assist in unimaginable ways.

I am happy to assist if that would be helpful.  I am grateful to my teachers: Peter, Jason, Brenda, Leah, Debbie, Chris.
