ALEXANDRIA, VA. - Del Ray eateries have been making us proud on television in recent months, and now there's another show to add to that list.

WETA TV 26 is airing its second episode of "Neighborhood Eats" Monday, Nov. 13 at 9:30 p.m., and Del Ray is one of the featured neighborhoods. The show made stops at Stomping Ground, Evening Star Café, and Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza.

The 30-minute companion series to "WETA Neighborhoods" features culinary highlights from around the DC area. Other areas featured on the episode are Adams Morgan/Mount Pleasant, Southwest DC and Silver Spring. The series premiered in May.

Here's a description of the visits to the Del Ray restaurants, according to WETA,

Stomping Ground: Introducing customers to regional specialty ingredients, this café and biscuit house proudly displays its Southern roots.

Evening Star Cafe:
Boasting a rooftop produce garden, this popular community gathering spot truly embraces the "eating local" mantra, showcased in their monthly supper club.

Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap: This family-inspired restaurant boasts a floor-to-ceiling wood-burning oven for their thin-crust pizza, which boasts toppings both traditional and exotic.

In August, Stomping Ground and Evening Star Cafe received some national airtime on the Cooking Channel's Cheap Eats.
