ALEXANDRIA, VA. –  Politics as usual in our Nation’s Capital but the DC Restaurant scene is on fire!

Hilton Alexandria Old Town was excited to be right in the center of the heat as it was officially announced as the hotel partner for this season's “Top Chef DC.”

The Old Town hotel across from the King Street Metro is celebrating its partnership with the top-rated Bravo show with a Culinary Travel Sweepstakes, Hilton TV programming, collector key cards and a special web site.

Across the river, this week’s episode of the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning series found its six remaining chef'testants stepping up to the plate at Nationals Park in an effort to create an array of tasty, yet sophisticated snacks for hungry Washington Nationals fans.

In the episode“Making Concessions,” the chefs take over two concession stands and are challenged to go beyond the typical ballpark fare and focus on adding new creations to the gameday menu.

Nationals players Adam Dunn and John Lannan, as well as former Nationals pitcher Matt Capps make guest appearances while master seafood chef Rick Moonen serves as guest judge.

To find out which chef'testants knock it out of the park and who must “pack up their knives” and go home, tune in to Bravo on Wednesday (8/25) at 10 pm.
