ALEXANDRIA, VA. — The founder of designer and luxury consignment boutique Mint Condition is leaving to relocate near loved ones, but the store will go on under local ownership. Mint Condition owner Toni Henderson announced Wednesday the store was sold to 529 Kids Consign owner Megan Podolsky and The Shoe Hive director of operations Katie Coslov.

When Henderson made the decision to leave, she sought out individuals who would understand her boutique and Old Town, as well as have a successful background in retail. It made sense for Henderson to think of Podolsky, who has experience in consignment and is president of the Old Town Boutique District. On top of that, Podolsky and Coslov are long-time consignors at Mint Condition.
