World Class a cappella at George Mason

Fairfax, VA - One of the greatest a cappella concerts of all time will be held at George Mason University on Sunday, June 27, at 2:00 pm. The Choir of the World Concert features some of the world’s greatest close-harmony choruses and quartets.
 
The 2009 Choir of the World Competition winners and contestants on the NBC television talent show America’s Got Talent, the Westminster Chorus.
 
Four-time winners of the Barbershop Harmony Society’s international chorus championship, the Alexandria Harmonizers.
 
New Zealand’s foremost quartet, the Musical Island Boys, Sweden’s Ringmasters, one of the world’s youngest and most electrifying foursomes in a cappella World-touring OC Times, the 2008 winners of the Barbershop Harmony Society’s quartet competition.
 
Winners of the 2009 National Harmony Sweepstakes competition and contestants on the NBC talent competition The Sing-Off, Maxx Factor.
 
Other top-notch competing close-harmony quartets will be present including Masterpiece, the Crush, the Edge, and Old School.
 
This once-in-lifetime joint concert by the greatest in world a cappella will be held at the state-of-the-art George Mason University Performing Arts Center and is produced by the area’s own world-class a cappella institution, the Alexandria Harmonizers.
 
Fans of accomplished choral performance, a cappella, and riveting showmanship will not want to miss this concert.
