ALEXANDRIA, VA. – Alexandria’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Activities has teamed with the Arlandria-Chirilagua Business Association and several citizen groups to organize a new festival celebrating the city’s diversity.
Scheduled for Sept. 15 at the Four Mile Run Center located at 4109 Mt. Vernon Avenue in Arlandria, the DiverseCity Alexandria Multicultural Fest is open to all ages. The free festival will include live music and performers, international food vendors, kids games and cultural activities.
The event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
