The night included a special "Mad Hatter" theme and guests and performers carried out the theme all night long.
There was a Wonderland prop-filled photo booth, and roaming magicians from About Faces performed hat and card tricks.
Costumed greeters wearing outfits that will be featured in the performance from famed Cirque du Soleil designer, Liz Vandal, greeted guests at the entrance of the ballroom and could be spotted mingling about throughout the night, along with dazzling co-hosts Ashley Taylor and Winston Lord.
Guests were also treated to an amazing dance number and performance by The Washington Ballet Studio Company dancers, choreographed by former uber-talented Washington Ballet dancer Aaron Jackson.
The Washington Ballet's brilliant and energetic and artistic director Septime Webre tells us that's what he has on tap for the ballet's production of Alice.
"It's going to be a wild ride!" Webre effused last Saturday at the ballet's signature annual event, the Jete Dance Party. "Precocious little Alice will lead us on a raucous journey where things are not always what they seem."
