ALEXANDRIA, VA. - T. C. Williams High School celebrated Homecoming on a Saturday, Oct. 21. Parker-Gray Memorial Stadium was rocking from pre-game ceremonies through halftime festivities and the Titans’ crushing victory on the gridiron.

The T. C. football team took on Edison High School in a non-district contest. The Titans defeated the Eagles in a 69-7 blowout, improving their win-loss record to 5-3 (1-1 Gunston District) with two games remaining in the regular season.

The Titans scored in the fifth minute of the game on a 30-yard pass from senior quarterback Diondre Charlton to senior receiver Kai Cole. T. C. recovered a fumble less than one minute later to set up a touchdown by junior Lamont Williams and extra point by kicker Jose Velazquez. Edison’s only points came on a 79-yard touchdown pass with 5:28 remaining in the first quarter. The Titans, who scored two more touchdowns, held a decisive 28-7 lead at the end of the first quarter. T. C. Williams scored five more touchdowns under Charlton in the second quarter to build a commanding 62-7 lead at halftime. Williams had a 52-yard touchdown run from junior quarterback Jack Rossi in the third quarter to extend the Titans lead. The final score was 69-7.
