ALEXANDRIA, VA – Batimore police have arrested two teenagers in Baltimore who were linked to the theft of a car used by 16-year-old Annie McCann to run away from her Alexandria home, the Baltimore Sun reports.
The remains of the teenage girl were found in November 2008 in a Baltimore dumpster. She apparently ran away from home on Halloween.
Baltimore detectives arrested two 16-year-old boys late last month and charged them as juveniles in the theft of McCann's parents' car.
In October, the teen's parents criticized Baltimore police for what they called "inaction" in the case. No arrests have been made in connection to the girl's death, which police have called a suicide.
