Bagels for Beagles

ALEXANDRIA, VA. - For five days this summer, Bruegger’s Bagels of King Street will be donating 15% of certain purchases to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
 
On June 18, June 19, July 3, July 4, and September 26 purchases accompanied by the flyer will count towards Bruegger’s donation to the League.

Founded in 1946, the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) is an animal sheltering and welfare organization based in Alexandria, Virginia.
 
In addition to their cooperation with Bruegger’s Bagels, the AWLA recently acquired a Facebook page, available to view at http://www.facebook.com/alexandriaanimals.
 
As of this date, the Facebook Page has 125 fans.
 
Bruegger’s Bagels is located at 606 King Street in Old Town, Alexandria, being part of a chain that began in 1983.
