ALEXANDRIA, VA. - What's happening at Old Town's local library this month? Take a look at special events at the Kate Waller Barrett Branch library at 717 Queen St.

eBOOKS @ ALEXANDRIA LIBRARY Monday, Jan. 7, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Learn how to use Alexandria Library’s ebook collection on your e-reader, smartphone, mp3 player or computer.

BOOK SALE Saturday, Jan. 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Selling hardback and paperback books, DVDs, and music priced from $2 to $3.

LET’S TALK BOOKS: BROOKLYN Monday, Jan. 14, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Discuss Brooklyn by Colm Toibin.

CRAFT NIGHT Tuesday, Jan. 15, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Do you knit, crochet or sew? Join us to meet other crafters, share your love of yarn, thread and fabric, or even learn a new skill. Beginners welcome. Participants must bring their own supplies.
