ALEXANDRIA, VA. - Some Alexandria businesses are feeling the impacts of the summer Metro shutdown of six Blue and Yellow Line stations, according to a new survey.

WTOP reported that 41 percent of businesses responding to the mid-June survey had lower revenue when compared to this time in 2018. The survey garnered responses from 149 businesses, and about two out of three were from Old Town. The results varied for different areas of Old Town.
