Sarah Mellott Weds Edward Cadagin

ALEXANDRIA, VA. - Alexandria residents Sarah A. Mellott and Edward P. Cadagin were married Saturday in Alexandria.

The Rev. Christopher S. Esget performed the ceremony at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alexandria, where he is the senior pastor.

The couple met at Georgetown University, from which they both graduated summa cum laude.

Mrs. Cadagin, 23, is pursuing a doctorate in art history and archaeology at the University of Maryland. Her father retired as the publisher of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and is now an adviser in the Atlanta office of Bain & Company, a Boston consultancy.

Mr. Cadagin, 22, will begin his second year of law school at Georgetown later this month. His father is an automotive safety specialist for the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Mich.
