ALEXANDRIA, VA. - The Del Ray community is raising money for a family that lost their home in a fire April 13.

Henry Kim, owner of Streets Market and Cafe grocery market in Del Ray, his wife and two children lost their Burke home and belongings in the fire. No was injured. Fairfax County fire investigators estimate the damages at $163,750. The family rents the townhome in Burke.

Angie Napolitano, an employee at Streets Market and Cafe, started a GoFundMe page for the Kim family.

"As renters they had no insurance and never imagined anything like this could ever happen," she wrote on the GoFundMe page. "I for one am so relieved that they are all ok. But I cannot fathom the loss of everything."

The Kim family was just returning home when fire and rescue crews were arriving on the scene. Investigators found the fire was caused by a malfunctioning refrigerator.

The GoFundMe page is seeking to raise $10,000 for the family.
