WASHINGTON, DC. - Hudson & Crane co-owner Jaye Langmaid says he plans to test a second location of his popular Adams Morgan home goods store at the Wharf. He says he’s aiming to open a pop-up shop at the new Southwest waterfront development by the end of the month, and there’s a chance the store will remain permanently: “We’re testing the location and neighborhood to see how they respond to us and how traffic is.”

In addition to operating as a furniture and decor shop, Hudson & Crane also offers interior design services. Langmaid shared the news about his forthcoming Wharf location during a tour of his most recent project, the Kipling House condos on Capitol Hill.

The 49-unit development from Madison Investments includes a mix of studios and one- and two-bedrooms, that start in the $300,000s. Langmaid decorated a two-bedroom model unit, listed for $849,900. Here’s a look inside.
