ALEXANDRIA, VA. - For Calvin Kim of Alexandria, the saying "happy wife, happy life" rings true. After all, he stopped to buy his wife a sandwich and became a millionaire.

Kim won $2 million in the May 28 Mega Millions drawing after buying a ticket at the Eden Center's Saigon Bakery & Deli in Falls Church. He was the only person in Virginia and one of five nationwide to match the first five numbers that day. In fact, the chance of matching the first five numbers is one in 12,607,306.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 9-21-34-42-50, and the Mega Ball number was 21. Kim used random computer-generated numbers for the ticket.
