Wine Alexandria Virginia
By The Vino Vixen™
It was bound to happen. Bar Baudelaire - Old Town’s chicest wine bar and Club BV* - Old Town’s most vivacious wine club enjoyed an unbridled tryst last Thursday evening.

| *Bon Vivants |
A cast of nearly 100 Bon Vivants sipped and swirled 12 wines around the world including bubbles from New Zealand, vintage Port from Portugal, even a surprise showing from Greece. Bar Baudelaire management, Patrick Alexander and Jaime Paredes rolled out the red carpet for the Club BV guests which included Old Town all stars such as Mary S. Sterling (Historic Alexandria Foundation), Paul Waldron, ESQ and Ruthe Goughe (who were bedecked in their finest tux for the occasion), Lorraine Lloyd (Alexandria Convention and Visitors Association), Mr and Mrs Jon Longmire, and of course, Kevin Stull and The Vino Vixen.
This was no ordinary wine tasting. This evening celebrated the new relationship between Club BV* and Bar Baudelaire. With this successful encounter, Club BV* adopted Bar Baudelaire as it’s official Club House – and Bar Baudelaire embraced the Bon Vivants as her VIWs (Very Important Wine-OHs). Each month, Bar Baudelaire will welcome Club BV* and guests (and that includes you, dear reader) to a relaxed evening of hors d’oeuvres, wine education, and a dash of frivolity. Don’t miss the next soiree – go to ClubBV.net and get on the invitation list.
Cheers,
