Cheers to many more great looks in Alexandria wardrobes

The rain, wind and general exhaustion of Friday’s gloomy day couldn’t keep die hard shoppers from celebrating fun, fall fashion at Periwinkle. As champagne corks popped, slightly damp but far from disheveled ladies snagged classic, easy to wear dresses with modern updates and this fall’s footwear prerequisite, sleek and sexy knee boots, all by Nannette Lepore. Also hot were statement bags to complement and spice up closets full of practical and functional black and gray staples.

Shoppers were treated to a special gift with purchase, Swarovski crystal earrings in the signature Periwinkle flower either in blue or clear. After nibbling on a delicious and sweetly iced logo cupcake, I snapped up a black floral pendant on a chunky long black chain by Bella Designs to layer with all my favorite silk dresses and heavy sweaters.
